How do I book a tattoo appointment? All appointments can be secured at https://estheticallycarmen.as.me/tattoo . Be prepared to make an up-front non-refundable deposit to secure and confirm your spot. This amount will be subtracted from the total cost of your tattoo. The deposit is strictly non-refundable regardless of circumstances (including disagreement with the quote/final pricing of your desired tattoo design). Therefore, it is highly recommended to reach out to Carmen prior to booking an appointment to discuss design and pricing.
How do I inquire for a tattoo? The best way to inquire is to text Carmen at 773-517-1668 or Direct Message @estheticallycarmen.inks on Instagram. Please allow up to 1-3 business days for a response. I try my best to reply in a timely manner to everyone who follows booking instructions. You're welcome to resend the message if you do not hear back within the week, but please do not resend if you have not heard back in 2 or 3 days. To make the process more efficient, if you do not follow the instructions for booking, your inquiry may be deleted without a reply.

If your inquiry does not contain this information about your tattoo, you may not receive a reply. Being descriptive as possible will minimize back and forth, allows me to give you an accurate quote, allows me to allocate the appropriate time for tattooing, and will help me immensely when drawing the design.
How much will my tattoo cost? The minimum cost to book a fine line tattoo appointment is $150+ (0.5-1 inch), $200+ (2-3 inches), $250+ (4-5+ inches). Rates are subject to change and may increase based on size and design complexity. After inquiring about the design, an estimate will be given. The final pricing will depend on the finalized size you select at the appointment. No major changes can be made after design is confirmed and finalized.
Can I see the design first before I book? If you are wanting a custom tattoo (birth flower, flower bouquets, floral, unique designs, etc.), I require a non-refundable deposit before I start on any designs. The deposit will be subtracted from the total cost of tattoo. A predesign will be sent 1-3 days before your appointment for your approval/confirmation. All designs must be confirmed the day before the appointment latest and no changes can be made after and on the day of appointment (except for size and placement).
FAQs
Where are you located? I am located at 80 E Pershing Rd, Chicago, Illinois 60653 at Bronzeville Salon Suites. Free parking is available on both Pershing Rd and Michigan Ave. Please be aware of any street signs.
What tattoo styles do you offer? I do fine line tattoos, floral, scripture/handwriting, custom designs, and flash tattoos.
Can I get color tattoo(s)? I currently only offer black/grey ink tattoos. Colored ink (red, blue, purple, green, pink) is available upon request.
Where on the body do you not tattoo? I do not tattoo feet, sides of fingers, inside the mouth, palms, or private areas. I do hand/finger tattoos but I am selective on what I am willing to tattoo. Show me your design inspiration and I'll let you know if I'm interested.
Do you do group /matching tattoos? For all group/matching tattoos, please inquire the same way via text or DM. Please include everyone’s names in the party and contact information (phone number).
Can I bring a guest? Guests who do not have an appointment with me will have to wait in the waiting area on the first floor. This is to limit any distractions for the artist and avoid any cross-contamination. Translators are allowed, however, they must not be in the work area during the tattooing service. Thank you for respecting the guest policy and understanding.
What are your rescheduling/cancellation policies? I respectfully request at least a 48 hour notice for cancellations and rescheduling. Only one rescheduling is allowed. After that, a new deposit is required. Cancellation results in forfeiting your deposit. There will not be any refunds on deposits under any circumstances including but not limited to: pregnancy, travel, car issues, etc. Clients who no show/cancel the same day will forfeit their deposit. A new deposit is required to reschedule. Please email info@estheticallycarmen.com or text Carmen as soon as possible if your appointment needs to be cancelled.
Can I use numbing? No usage of numbing cream unless approved.

What types of payment do you accept? Accepted forms of payment are Cash and Credit Cards (Visa, AmEx, and Discover). We do accept cards, but like any small business we appreciate cash transactions.
When can I come back for a touch up? It is normal to need a touch up for fine line tattoos due to the thin and delicate lines. Several reasons can affect the vibrancy of your tattoos: sun exposure, poor aftercare, friction or placement. Touch up within 2 months of your initial tattoo appointment is $25 and $50 after. Please reach out to me via text and include a photo of your healed tattoo to discuss if a touch up is needed.
Do you offer foreign tattoo touch-ups? Foreign touch-ups are accepted but not all. Please send an email to info@estheticallycarmen.com to inquire.
Do you offer fine line tattoo trainings/mentorship? I offer private 1:1 Intro Fine Line Tattoo in-person training! No experienced or artistic background required. Live demo + live model opportunities. Student kit with premium supplies provided. In-person shadow opportunities + mentorship/support after course.
