Expect some redness and swelling right after the procedure. You may also experience a white halo surrounding the area and this is related to the topical anesthetic used.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Avoid getting your eyebrows soaked in water until your brows are fully healed (when it is done flaking). Healing time varies from 10-14 days. You may wash with water and gently pat dry as needed.
2. Apply a grain size of A&D/Vaseline/Aquaphor ointment using a Q-tip on each brow. Apply the ointment twice a day, morning and night. If you have oily skin, apply once at night.
3. Use a “total sun block” after the procedure area has healed to prevent future fading of pigment color.
It is crucial that during the healing period that you maintain facial hygiene and AVOID:
Touching or picking the eyebrows (apply ointment with Q-tip). Picking can lead to color loss, scarring and infection (especially if hands are not clean).
Getting the brows soaked with water. Accidental splash of water is okay as long as you pat dry with a napkin. It is best to wash your face by the sink prior to showering or you can avoid the eyebrow area when showering.

FIRST DAY (24 HOURS)
Lips will be swollen and the color is very bright and saturated. Clean lips with sterile water and clean paper towel. There may be some lymph fluids coming out from the lips from a fresh tattoo. You do not want this to stay on your lips as this will form into scabs. Remember the less scabs and peeling, the better the retention.
DAY 2-7
Avoid exercising and sweating
Avoid spicy, oil, or salty foods
Drink out of straws, eat with a fork to avoid over-stretching lips
No kissing, smoking, rubbing the lip area
Avoid exposing lips to excessive sunlight
Do not pick any scabs or dry areas that may form during the healing process
Do not put any lipstick or any form of makeup on the lips
Do not get the lip area wet with water while showering or washing your face
Put on extremely thin layer of Vitamin A&D or Aquaphor on a clean Q-tip every couple hours
No swimming until the area is completely healed. Salt water / Chlorine can cause the pigment to fade or change in color
Avoid contact with animals
*Failure to follow these instructions may result in pigment loss and/or infection
-
Keep tattoo covered with tattoo wrap for 3-5 days. After you take the wrap off, wash hands and gently clean the area with antibacterial soap (Recommendations: CeraVe, Dial Complete) and warm water and pat dry after
Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free lotion to keep the tattoo area moisturized
Do not soak tattoo in water. Avoid baths, jacuzzi, swimming pools
Scabbing is normal. No picking or pulling the scabs while the tattoo is healing. Let the scabs fall out on its own
Avoid prolonged sun exposure. As time goes on, it’s natural for a tattoo to go through changes, including fading. If you want to keep tattoo looking fresh, apply sunscreen to the tattoo daily (after healing process)
